Dr McCarthy graduated with honours from UCD in 2008 and completed GP training on the HSE Dublin North East Training scheme. She has worked in the local community in Carrickmacross for 10 years
Dr McCarthy has special interests in women’s health and contraceptive care including coil insertion. Dr McCarthy also has a special interest in providing menopause care.
She lives locally with her husband, daughter and son.
