Dr David Doran graduated with honours from UCD in 2007 and completed GP training on

the HSE Dublin North East Training Scheme. He holds higher qualifications in Medicine of

the Elderly, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Musculoskeletal Medicine, Family Planning and

Legal Medicine.

He has worked extensively in travel and expedition medicine and also has an interest in

sports medicine, having worked with senior intercounty GAA and Airtricity Premier League

soccer teams in the past. Dr Doran is skilled in joint injection and management of sports

injuries.

He also worked in the Mater Private Hospital where he carried out health screenings as part of the Healthcheck service.

Dr Doran also has extensive experience in prehospital medicine and urgent care.

He lives locally with his wife, son and cats.
